Anderson and Mitchell’s return to The Link continues to impact the arts in the greater metropolitan area. Also returning, Mr. Steve Rooks, former principal dancer with Martha Graham.
Joining us this summer is world renowned Master Teacher Clara Cravey, Priscilla Nathan Murphy of Houston Ballet Academy and Theara Ward, former soloist of Dance Theatre Of Harlem. Pointe Shoe Day
Oh my! eleven (11) students advanced to pointe work at The Link. We are so proud of them, and had a wonderful time fellowshipping with parents, fittings by Ms. Loretta, and an ice cream social following. I am always amazed at how much our school has grown and is growing. The students are very strong in their technique and their love for God….heartwarming… more...Many, many thanks to Susan Howard for her “labor of love” in teaching a much needed pre-pointe class to prepare them for the arduous work involved in dancing en pointe. They are well prepared. Congratulations!
“Joy Of Christmas”
A well attended and blessed event for The Link and our surrounding arts community. The program was filled with a mix of drama, video, classical variations and a beautiful angelic ending by our lower and upper lower school students. 
The kids were amazing! The cookie social, which followed, gave families and friends the opportunity to meet and greet members of the Le Lien Ballet Theatre and to fellowship with one another! A delightful evening indeed! A special thank you to all who participated and donated time and finances to making this evening a tremendous success!

Continuing to Impact the Community in Dance
What Joy! – Sunday, February 28th, 45 dancers from The Link performed sacred and excerpts from the Nutcracker for patients at Cherrywood Nursing Home in Sterling Heights, MI. 
There was standing room only and patients were very thankful and appreciative of us coming to dance. To be honest, the honor was ours! Looking forward to the American Heritage House on March 12th.
Teacher Appreciation Week
February 15th – February 19th, 2010. A very special thank you to all who graced us with flowers, cards and notes of encouragement and appreciation. 
The teachers' boxes were overflowing with special pictures, little notes and cards of encouragement and homemade goodies from the students. The Link was filled with a beautiful display of roses, sunflowers, orchids, daisies, carnations and lilies filling our studios with a sweet, fragrance. The first day everyone bought each teacher a flower, the second day a picture, the third day, a treat or goodie and the last day a note of thanks, story or a special memory of their teacher. Thank you again for making us feel so special.
