Psalm 139:8:  “If I ascend into heaven, you are there.”

The Link dancers performed at the 2007 Ascend Conference on Thursday, September 20, 2007 at Zion Christian Church.  This year’s theme, entitled “The Power Of Purity”, drew an audience in excess of 2,000.  The performances were very well received and it was a blessing to worship with Donny McClurkin, who was the guest speaker for the evening.  Other, notable guests were Martha Munizzi, one of our nation’s most popular worship leaders and Michael Gungor, worship leader at Resurrection Life Church in Grand Rapids, MI.  In addition to the 2,000 who attended the general sessions many more attended from the metropolitan Detroit and surrounding areas for special sessions in music, dance, drama, media/video/graphics, audio/recording, and Leadership/Pastoral workshops.   This conference was yet another wonderful opportunity for the Link dancers to proclaim the “gospel” in the arts in our community.
