Five Link pre-professional students; Jenny Bobo, Leanne Gauthier, Lindsey Horrigan, Elizabeth Webb and Caroline Sheridan were invited to dance with the Rose Marie Contemporary Civic Ballet Company for their 2007 performance of the Nutcracker. 

This Contemporary Civic Ballet Company was founded in 1956 to provide advanced dancers the experience of performing in a company and to further the cultural development of the community.  Many of her students have become professional dancers in major companies, including the Joffrey Ballet, Houston Ballet, Netherlands Dance Theatre, Martha Graham, Cleveland Ballet, many Modern dance companies and Broadway Musicals.

In addition to a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Wayne State University, Rose Marie holds many Teacher and Arts Achievement awards and was selected for “Who’s Who Among Teachers in America” in 1996.  Rose Marie was the recipient of a Dance Teacher Magazine Award for the 2005 Outstanding Ballet Teacher in the private and academy categories in the United States.
