Gayla Gregor Norris began her training with her mother and mentor, Rose Marie Gregor, who was an Executive Board Member and examiner with Cecchetti Council of America, Inc. She also trained with Rose Marie Floyd in her teen years. Since her youth, Gayla has studied all over the US and Europe in company affiliated schools such as ABT and Joffrey, workshops and mater classes with legendary ballet and jazz teachers including Arthur Mitchell and Luigi. Gayla has 29 years teaching experience of ballet, jazz and tap and directed the Birmingham Ballet and Jazz School for 10 years. She has been guest ballet and Jazz faculty for numerous Cecchetti seminars and summer workshops.
